Srbija Zijdin Koper employs over 3,660 people in eight years

Srbija Zijdin Koper has employed more than 3,660 people over the past eight years. The company was recently recognized by the National Employment Service as the best employer in the Bor District, a distinction it earned among over 3,000 competing employers in the Timok region.

In addition to its long-term employment impact, the company has significantly contributed to the local labor market by halving the number of unemployed individuals in Bor. Through professional development programs conducted in cooperation with educational institutions, such as the Technical Faculty in Bor, 447 students and pupils have participated, with 337 receiving employment contracts.

Looking ahead, the company is seeking to fill 20 additional vacancies, including roles for production workers, a pump operator, mechanical, electrical, and mining engineers, as well as safety and health engineers. These recruitment efforts will be highlighted at an upcoming employment fair in Bor on October 20.
