Srce participates in PUBMET2026 international conference

The international PUBMET2026 conference was held at the University Campus in Zadar from September 9 to 11, 2026. The event gathered stakeholders in open scientific publishing to discuss the future of scientific communication, diamond open access, and the sustainability of supporting infrastructures.

Srce, the University Computing Centre, participated with presentations regarding the establishment of a national EOSC node to promote the integration of e-infrastructure services. Additionally, the center presented results from the first certification of journals in Croatia, which evaluated over 400 journals based on specific criteria.

To support research data management and open science, Srce is revising its existing courses and introducing a new online course titled ‘Research Software Management’ to improve user experience and align with the National Open Science Plan.
