Simultaneously, the Srebrenica Memorial Center is facing significant pressure after the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska summoned over 20 current and former employees and associates for hearings. Director Emir Suljagić and the center's union have condemned these actions, characterizing them as an attempt to use legal mechanisms to undermine the institution. Suljagić compared the current legal scrutiny to patterns used during the 1995 genocide to justify actions through formal procedures, while the union has called for increased protection from the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
