Srebrenica mothers protest for justice and support Potočari Memorial Center

Members of the Association of Mothers of Srebrenica held a peaceful protest in Tuzla to advocate for truth and the prosecution of those responsible for war crimes. During the demonstration, the group expressed support for the Potočari Memorial Center amid judicial pressures from the Republika Srpska and defended Faruk Đozić, who was removed from his position in the Srebrenica Municipality following social media posts regarding the death of convicted war criminal Ratko Mladić.

In a separate development, the Association of Mothers of Srebrenica and Žepa, along with the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide, issued a formal congratulation to Nedžad ef. Grabus on his election as the Reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The associations expressed hope for future cooperation, emphasizing the importance of dialogue to preserve the memory of victims, uphold historical facts, and ensure that the truth regarding the crimes committed is never denied.
