Srećko Ezgeta elected president of Croatian gas suppliers association

Srećko Ezgeta of Gradska plinara Bjelovar has been elected president of the Association of Gas Suppliers and Distributors of the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK).

Ezgeta's leadership priorities include advocating for the interests of suppliers and distributors, improving the regulatory framework, and ensuring the sustainability of gas infrastructure. He emphasized that gas will play a vital role during the energy transition, noting that Croatia's annual gas consumption ranges between 25 and 28 TWh. Ezgeta highlighted the need for a stable and predictable regulatory environment to support reliable supply and the significant investments required for infrastructure.

Vice presidents were also appointed to represent different sectors: Marko Križanec and Jeronim Tomas for gas supply, and Nikola Novaković and Damir Pećušak for gas distribution.
