Paraná elections: Sergio Moro leads gubernatorial race in new polls

Recent political polling and campaign activities indicate a shifting landscape for the upcoming elections in Paraná and Goiás. In Paraná, Senator Sergio Moro (PL) maintains a lead in the race for Governor. According to Paraná Pesquisas, Moro holds 45% of the intended votes, followed by Requião Filho (PDT) at 24% and Sandro Alex (PSD) at 17.5%. However, a separate IRG survey shows different results, placing Moro at 38.8% and Sandro Alex higher at 27%, highlighting discrepancies due to differing methodologies such as telephone versus in-person interviews.

The Senate race in Paraná also shows significant competition, with candidates like Deltan Dallagnol, Gleisi Hoffmann, and Alexandre Curi emerging as frontrunners in stimulated scenarios. Meanwhile, in Goiás, federal deputy Gustavo Gayer (PL) faces high rejection rates, with 23.6% of respondents stating they would not vote for him, despite his strong base.

In a notable political move, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) is scheduled to visit Filipe Martins in a Ponta Grossa prison, an event that is expected to draw Senator Sergio Moro and bring national Bolsonarismo into the center of the state's political discourse.
