Sri Lanka briefs diplomats on 2026 Economic and Investment Summit

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sri Lanka has briefed foreign diplomatic missions regarding the upcoming Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit (SLEIS) 2026. Organized by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the summit is scheduled for October 12 and 13, 2026.

Themed ‘Positioning Sri Lanka in a Changing Global Economy: Resilience, Reform, and the Future of Economic Policy’, the event aims to move the national conversation from immediate economic stabilization toward long-term growth, trade, and competitiveness. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arun Hemachandra encouraged diplomatic representatives to share these investment opportunities with their respective business communities and international partners.
