Sri Lanka Cricket Awards 2025 celebrates leading cricketers

The Sri Lanka Cricket Awards 2025 ceremony in Colombo recognised a range of outstanding performances. All-rounder Kaveesha Dilhari was named the Women’s T20 International Best Bowler after taking eight wickets in eight matches with a 21.75 average.

Opening batter Pathum Nissanka received the overall Cricketer of the Year award and also won Best T20 Batter, while women’s captain Chamari Athapaththu was crowned Women’s Cricketer of the Year and secured both the Best Women’s T20 Batter and Best Women’s T20 All‑Rounder honours. Other awardees included Test captain Dhananjaya de Silva (Best Test All‑Rounder), spinner Prabath Jayasuriya (Best Test Bowler), and emerging talent Kamil Mishara (Emerging Men’s Cricketer).
