The meeting examined major court infrastructure projects, including the Colombo High Court Complex, Aluthkade Court Complex and new courts in Galle, Matale and Kantale, and discussed resuming construction of official residences for judges that were halted after the 2022 economic crisis.

The President directed strengthening of the Legal Draftsman's Department with additional staff and technology, and ordered new laboratory equipment for the Government Analyst’s Department along with relocation to suitable premises. The Department of Prisons’ Rs 5.627 billion capital programme was reviewed, covering renovations, modern technology, vehicles and software, as well as welfare improvements for prison officers and recruitment to fill engineering vacancies.
