Sri Lanka to tour Pakistan in 2026 multi-format cricket series

Sri Lanka is scheduled to tour Pakistan in October and November 2026 for a multi-format cricket tour. The itinerary includes a three-match T20I series starting October 9 in Rawalpindi, followed by a three-nation ODI tri-series involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and England, held in Rawalpindi and Lahore from October 18 to 31.

The tour will conclude with a two-match Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27. The first Test is set for Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, and the second will take place in Lahore from November 17 to 21.

Both nations are currently in transitional phases, utilizing these series to blood new talent and test squad combinations. For Pakistan, hosting matches on home soil is noted as a significant event due to historical logistical and security challenges that previously necessitated neutral venues.
