Maritime conditions are expected to be rough, particularly in sea areas extending from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota, where wind speeds may reach 50-60 kmph. Naval and fishing communities are urged to remain vigilant and are advised against venturing into rough sea areas until further notice.
