Sri Lanka's JVP delegation visits BJP office in New Delhi

A five-member delegation from Sri Lanka’s ruling Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) visited the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office in New Delhi on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The delegation, led by General Secretary Tilvin Silva, was welcomed by Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra.

The visit is part of an ongoing trip to India from September 27 to October 1 at the invitation of the BJP. The delegation includes Central Committee Member Chandrika Adikari, Member of Parliament Aboobucker Athambawa, District Committee Member Kabilan Suntharamoorthy, and International Department Member Kalpana Madhubhashini.

During the visit, the group met with BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B L Santhosh. Scheduled upcoming interactions include meetings with BJP National President Nitin Nabin, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
