Srinagar Police recover ₹17.5 lakh in stolen property

Srinagar Police have resolved a major theft case involving the recovery of stolen property valued at approximately ₹17.5 lakh. The investigation, registered at the Rainawari Police Station, identified Mohd Hussain Latoo as the primary suspect, who allegedly acted with two juvenile associates.

Recovered items include gold ornaments worth roughly ₹12 lakh, ₹2.2 lakh in cash, three iPhones, and a motorcycle. Authorities noted that a portion of the stolen cash had been used to purchase the mobile phones and the vehicle. Further investigations are ongoing to determine if other individuals were involved.
