SRM Medical College Hospital opens multidisciplinary rehabilitation centre

SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Institute has inaugurated a comprehensive rehabilitation centre in Chennai designed to serve both children and adults. The facility provides integrated, multidisciplinary services under one roof to assist patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, as well as those with developmental challenges.

The centre employs a diverse team including rehabilitation physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech specialists, psychologists, and nutritionists. For pediatric patients, services include autism and early intervention programmes, ADHD and behavioural support, and cerebral palsy rehabilitation. Adult services focus on mobility, strength, pain management, and gait training. The facility also offers wellness therapies and home-based rehabilitation to support patients beyond the hospital setting.
