Srondeng wins bronze at World Climbing Series Koper
Indonesian climber Putra Tri Ramadani, also known as Srondeng, won the bronze medal in the men's lead discipline at the World Climbing Series (WCS) Koper 2026 in Slovenia on September 6, 2026.
Srondeng secured third place with a score of 28+ in the final round. The gold medal was awarded to Japan's Neo Suzuki with a score of 33+, while silver went to fellow Japanese athlete Satone Yoshida with a score of 30+.
Srondeng showed significant progression throughout the competition, moving from seventh place in the qualifications (score 5.1) to fifth in the semifinals (score 33) before reaching the podium. The Indonesian climbing team management noted that this performance serves as a key indicator of the athletes' readiness for the upcoming 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
