SSC Bari avoids liquidation after Filmauro guarantees 11.1 million euros

The Public Prosecutor's Office in Bari has formally withdrawn its request for the judicial liquidation of the SSC Bari football club. This decision follows a significant financial commitment from the club's parent company, Filmauro S.r.l., led by the De Laurentiis family.

Filmauro has provided an irrevocable guarantee to inject up to 11.1 million euros to support the club's operations for the 2026/27 season. The payment plan includes 1.1 million euros already paid in July, 2 million euros due by October 31, 2026, and monthly installments of 1 million euros from November 2026 through June 2027. These funds are designated as capital contributions rather than loans.

The Prosecutor's Office noted that Filmauro's financial solidity is evidenced by a net worth exceeding 74 million euros. The new commitment provides creditors with certain, non-postponed resources, ensuring the club's business continuity and the protection of its creditors. The matter now moves to the Bari Court to formally declare the extinction of the insolvency proceedings.
