SSC Napoli manages contract talks for Meret and Lobotka

SSC Napoli is managing key contract situations for goalkeeper Alex Meret and midfielder Stanislav Lobotka.

Regarding Alex Meret, his agent Federico Pastorello is expected to meet with club management by the end of the year to discuss a contract extension. Meret’s current deal expires in June 2027. The renewal discussions are expected to hinge on the club's long-term technical plans and the level of playing time Meret is guaranteed. Meret is currently recovering from a muscle injury.

For Stanislav Lobotka, Napoli holds a unilateral option to extend his contract until 2028. This clause provides the club with strategic flexibility, allowing them to monitor his performance or wait for market offers before making a final decision. While Juventus has shown interest in the Slovakian midfielder, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis remains a significant obstacle to any potential transfer.
