SSC Napoli manages multiple player contract renewals

SSC Napoli is actively managing several contract renewal processes for its key players. Sporting director Giovanni Manna has reportedly secured an extension for Amir Rrahmani until 2029 and has finalized an agreement with Luca Marianucci.

Negotiations are also progressing with goalkeeper Alex Meret, whose current deal expires at the end of the 2026-2027 season. While the club has an option to extend Stanislav Lobotka for an additional year, Meret’s situation is considered more urgent.

However, discussions regarding Scott McTominay have hit a temporary standstill. Although the midfielder expressed a desire to remain at the club until 2030, his agent, Colin Murdock, has requested a salary increase to 9 million euros per year. This is a significant jump from his current compensation of 5.5 million euros plus bonuses, a figure Napoli officials currently consider too high.
