SSC NR announces 2026 departmental exam dates and IP LDCE syllabus

The Staff Selection Commission, Northern Region (SSC NR) has scheduled five Limited Departmental Competitive Examinations (LDCE) for 2025 to take place on 23 August 2026 in Delhi. These exams are intended for eligible serving candidates seeking promotions or grade upgrades in roles such as Assistant Section Officer, Senior Secretariat Assistant, and Junior Secretariat Assistant.

Additionally, the Department of Posts has released the updated syllabus and examination pattern for the Inspector Posts (IP) LDCE 2026. The examination will consist of three papers totaling 600 marks: Paper I (250 marks), Paper II covering noting and drafting (50 marks), and Paper III (300 marks). Qualifying criteria require a 45% overall average for General Category candidates and a 38% average for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
