SSG Landers defeat Hanwha Eagles 7-1 in Incheon

The SSG Landers defeated the Hanwha Eagles 7-1 at Incheon SSG Landers Field on the 25th. The game remained a tight pitcher's duel at 1-1 until the bottom of the 6th inning, when SSG scored six runs to secure the victory.

SSG starter Kim Min-jun pitched five innings, allowing one run. Although he was aiming to tie the KBO record for consecutive quality starts by a high school rookie, SSG manager Lee Seung-yong decided to pull him in the 6th inning due to his pitch count. Following Kim, the SSG bullpen—consisting of Kim Min, Lee Geon-uk, Jeon Young-jun, and Seo Jin-yong—maintained a shutout through the remaining innings.

Hanwha's pitching struggled significantly in the 6th inning. After starter Owen White was replaced by Lee Sang-gyu, the bullpen faced consecutive issues with walks and hits, allowing four runs in that single inning. Hanwha's win probability plummeted from 41.9% to 2.6% following the 6th-inning collapse.
