SSG Landers players return from Asian Games gold as Noh Kyung-eun begins rehab

SSG Landers players Jo Byeong-hyeon, Jeong Jun-jae, and Jo Hyeong-woo have returned to their club following their gold medal victory at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. Jo Byeong-hyeon served as a key reliever, notably pitching scoreless innings during a high-pressure situation against Japan in the final. Jo Hyeong-woo, the starting catcher, and Jeong Jun-jae, a pinch runner, both earned military service exemptions through their performance.

Separately, veteran SSG Landers pitcher Noh Kyung-eun has begun rehabilitation following right knee surgery. After experiencing persistent pain that resisted non-surgical treatments, Noh underwent a meniscectomy in September. He reported that the surgery successfully eliminated the pain and expressed his intention to compete in the 2027 season, aiming to maintain high velocity despite turning 43 next year.
