SSI Securities surpasses 30,000 billion VND charter capital

SSI Securities Corporation has officially increased its charter capital to over 30,032.9 billion VND, making it the first securities company in Vietnam to surpass the 30,000 billion VND threshold. This increase follows the completion of a share issuance from owner equity, which added approximately 5,002 billion VND to the company's capital.

The issuance of 500.2 million shares concluded on August 18, 2026, bringing the total number of SSI shares to over 3 billion. The new shares are expected to be transferred in October 2026, pending registration with the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC) and additional listing on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE).

In the first half of 2026, SSI reported revenue of 6,652 billion VND and pre-tax profit of 3,122 billion VND, representing increases of 27% and 39% respectively compared to the same period last year. Additionally, Board Member Nguyen Hong Nam has registered to purchase 5 million shares between August 25 and September 22 for personal portfolio restructuring.
