SSS-Class Revival Hunter anime adaptation set for January 2027

The popular Korean webcomic and web novel ‘SSS-Class Revival Hunter’ will receive an anime adaptation scheduled to premiere in January 2027. The series will be streamed globally via Crunchyroll, covering regions including North and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and parts of Asia.

Directed by Hiroaki Sakurai, known for ‘The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.’, the production is being handled by STUDIO fu. The creative team includes scriptwriter Sayuri Oba and character designer Takahiro Yoshimatsu. The Japanese voice cast features Takeo Otsuka as the protagonist Gongja Kim and Satoshi Hino as the Sword Emperor.

The story follows Gongja Kim, an F-Rank hunter who gains a rare S-Rank ability with a unique condition: he must die to activate it. The plot centers on a mysterious tower infested with monsters that attracts hunters seeking wealth and glory.
