St. Andrew Bobola Parish holds Fatima devotion in Siemiatycze
The St. Andrew Bobola Parish in Siemiatycze held its monthly Fatima devotion on August 13, 2026. During the service, Father Maciej Domańszczyński read intentions submitted by parishioners, and the Eucharist was celebrated by parish priest Father Bohdan Sawicki.
The event included a procession around the church, where the faithful prayed the Rosary at five chapels. The service also marked the upcoming transfer of Father Domańszczyński to the cathedral parish in Drohiczyn following a decision by the Bishop of Drohiczyn. Additionally, the parish noted its spiritual connection to the 36th Drohiczyn Walking Pilgrimage to Częstochowa.
Separately, religious observances continue to honor St. Andrew Bobola, the patron saint of Poland. Devotional calls encourage the invocation of the saint to promote respect for Catholic and national values, emphasizing his role in the spiritual renewal of Poland and Europe.
