St. Anna Feast Celebrated in Bielsko‑Biała and New Jersey

In Bielsko‑Biała, Poland, a solemn Mass for St. Anna was celebrated in the Sułkowski Castle chapel by parish priest Antoni Młoczek. Museum staff and local residents attended, and organist Maciej Leśniak provided music. The service was followed by the concert “Psalmy trzech kultur,” performed by composer‑arranger Izabella Konar, highlighting Hebrew, Old‑Polish and Old‑Church‑Slavonic chants.

On July 26, the same feast was observed in Doylestown, New Jersey, at the shrine known as American Częstochowa. The celebration featured a strong Góralski (Highlander) character, with participants in traditional costume, folk music, and prayers for families. Representatives of the Jan Sabała Highlander Circle and the Sykowny Śpis Circle took part, continuing a long‑standing Polish‑American tradition that links the veneration of St. Anna with the preservation of Highlander culture.
