St Austell MP Noah Law to host town centre revitalisation event

Noah Law, the Labour MP for St Austell and Newquay, is hosting a drop-in event in St Austell town centre to launch his ‘Pledge for the Towns’. The event aims to showcase progress in revitalising local high streets and addressing community challenges.

Key initiatives to be discussed include the establishment of the St Austell Community Land Trust (CLT) and ongoing efforts to combat anti-social behaviour, as well as drug and alcohol issues within the town centre. Law also intends to provide updates on resolving the ‘Earth Goddess debacle’ by seeking a new owner for the site, drawing parallels to his previous work regarding the General Wolfe.

The event is part of a broader series of ‘Community Conversations’ involving police, local stakeholders, and residents to address regional challenges in areas including St Dennis, Sticker, Par, and Bugle.
