St. Cloud reports two separate vehicle accidents involving pedestrians and passengers

Two distinct traffic incidents occurred in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

On Friday morning, a collision between a Honda Accord and a semi-truck took place on eastbound Interstate 94 in Stearns County. The driver of the car, a 22-year-old from Prior Lake, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Cloud Hospital. Three passengers in the vehicle were uninjured, and the semi-truck driver was also unharmed.

In a separate incident on Wednesday afternoon, two children, aged six and 10, were struck by a vehicle while using a crosswalk at the intersection of 15th Avenue SE and University Drive SE. The children sustained substantial, non-life-threatening injuries; the six-year-old was airlifted to a children's hospital. The driver, a 56-year-old resident of St. Cloud, was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
