St. Cloud State volleyball claims top national ranking

St. Cloud State University volleyball has achieved the number one ranking in the nation according to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division II poll. This marks the first time in the program's history that it has held the top spot.

The ranking follows a perfect 4-0 start to the season, highlighted by a sweep of the Up North Tournament in Marquette, Michigan. Senior hitter Shelby Kim and junior libero Lauren Hammi were both named to the All-Tournament Team. Head Coach Chad Braegelmann is now four wins away from reaching 500 career victories. The team is scheduled to travel to Florida this weekend for the Barry Invitational.
