St. Georg hosts month-long diverse art exhibition

The St. Georg district is hosting a month-long art initiative titled ‘St. Georg – eine bunte Kunstgalerie’ from August 27 to September 27, 2026. Organized by artist Stefan Zinkgraf, the project transforms 34 local businesses and venues into an open-air gallery to showcase the neighborhood's diversity.

Participating locations include various shops and restaurants, with the ARCOTEL Rubin serving as a central exhibition site. The initiative features works from 36 different artists, ranging from established names like Gero Paul, Nicola Rübenberg, and Ulla Keienburg to emerging talents such as Mika Holthaus and Sepideh Moradian. The project aims to increase the visibility of local art and foster creative encounters within the community.
