St George Illawarra Dragons lock up Couchman brothers on long‑term deals

The St George Illawarra Dragons announced that brothers Ryan and Toby Couchman have signed contracts extending their stay at the club until at least the end of the 2030 season. Head coach Dean Young praised their work ethic, saying they “compete relentlessly” and will be key to the team’s future, while CEO Tim Watsford called the extensions a “special day” for the club.

Earlier in the season the Dragons, already destined for the wooden spoon, were narrowly beaten 28‑22 by the Dolphins.
