St. Helena Fire Department receives new firefighting vehicle

The St. Helena Volunteer Fire Department in Höhenberg has officially received a new Medium Firefighting Vehicle (MLF). The vehicle was formally handed over and blessed during a ceremony at the fire station, attended by firefighters, political figures, and emergency service representatives.

Neumarkt Mayor Markus Ochsenkühn stated that the acquisition is part of a continuous modernization effort guided by the city's fire department requirements plan. This plan has facilitated various investments in equipment, vehicles, and infrastructure, including the construction of a new main fire station in Neumarkt. The new MLF is designed for municipal firefighting and technical assistance, significantly expanding the department's operational capabilities for fires, traffic accidents, and severe weather incidents.
