St. Hildegardis-Gymnasium inaugurates new school courtyard in Duisburg

St. Hildegardis-Gymnasium in Duisburg has officially inaugurated its new school courtyard. The project, completed in two years for 1.1 million euros, came in under the original 1.3 million euro budget and ahead of the projected three-year timeline.

The new space, which includes a sports field opened last year, is designed to provide students with expanded areas for play, sports, and learning. The inauguration ceremony included a blessing by Auxiliary Bishop Ludger Schepers. Duisburg's First Mayor, Edeltraud Klabuhn, expressed gratitude to the Diocese of Essen for its investment in the school's future.
