St. John's and Creighton women's soccer play to scoreless draw

The Creighton and St. John's women's soccer teams played to a scoreless draw on Saturday night at Belson Stadium in Queens, New York. The result leaves Creighton with a 4-4-3 season record and 0-1-2 in BIG EAST play, while St. John's moves to 3-5-3 overall and 0-1-2 in conference action.

Creighton controlled much of the match, finishing with a 17-6 advantage in total shots and a 7-4 edge in corners. Despite the offensive pressure, the Bluejays were unable to convert, with only three shots finding the target. St. John's goalkeeper Kayla Bower recorded three saves to secure her fifth shutout of the season.

Creighton's Morgan Paley also delivered a strong performance, making four saves, including two in the final minute to preserve the draw. Both teams remained defensively focused throughout the contest, with St. John's earning points in two consecutive conference matches.
