St. John's Red Storm defeats Monmouth in season opener

No. 13 St. John's secured a 78-63 victory over Monmouth in their season opener at Carnesecca Arena in Queens, New York. Keyshawn Hall led the Red Storm with 26 points and nine rebounds in his debut, shooting 9 of 16 from the field and a perfect 7-for-7 from the free-throw line.
