St Kilda sets high asking price for Rowan Marshall in AFL trade talks
The 2026 Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period has officially commenced, with St Kilda setting a high asking price for contracted ruckman Rowan Marshall. The Saints are reportedly seeking Geelong’s first-round draft pick, specifically pick 14, along with an additional player in any potential deal for the 30-year-old.
St Kilda football boss Lenny Hayes stated that the club is highly rating Marshall and will require significant compensation to reach a satisfactory agreement. This follows a failed attempt to secure a deal for Marshall a year prior.
In related movement, Ben King is expected to join Hawthorn by the end of the trade period, while Gryan Miers’ future at Geelong remains uncertain following a medical assessment with West Coast.
