St. Louis man sentenced to eight years for drug distribution
Michael Strother, 21, has been sentenced to eight years in federal prison following his guilty plea to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl, as well as three counts of distributing methamphetamine.
The sentencing follows an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Strother conducted five drug transactions with an undercover ATF agent throughout 2024 in the Maplewood and St. Charles areas. During these transactions, he distributed approximately 3.97 pounds of methamphetamine and 35 grams of fentanyl.
Following a final transaction in September, Strother was arrested in a vehicle containing a juvenile and a quantity of fentanyl sufficient for distribution. U.S. District Judge Sarah E. Pitlyk imposed the sentence in the U.S. District Court in St. Louis.
