St. Maarten revealed as Wingo and Corona's mystery destination
St. Maarten has been revealed as the destination for the third edition of 'Destino Oculto,' a surprise travel experience organized by the Colombian airline Wingo and partner Corona. Approximately 400 travelers from Bogotá and Medellín arrived at Princess Juliana International Airport on Thursday, October 22.
The initiative, themed “one destination, two paradises,” aims to showcase the island's dual Dutch and French Caribbean cultures. The four-day trip, running through October 25, involves a strategic collaboration between Wingo, the Okana Group, the St. Maarten Tourism Bureau, the Office de Tourisme de Saint-Martin, and Princess Juliana International Airport.
Upon arrival, visitors were greeted with a traditional Caribbean reception featuring steel pan music and a welcome from the Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication, Grisha Heyliger-Marten.
