St. Maarten to host SMART 2027 Caribbean tourism tradeshow

The St. Maarten/St. Martin Annual Regional Tradeshow (SMART) is scheduled to return to St. Maarten from June 14 to 18, 2027. Organized by the St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association in collaboration with the St. Maarten Tourism Bureau, l’Office du Tourisme, and the Club du Tourisme, the event serves as a major marketplace for the northeastern Caribbean tourism industry.

The tradeshow facilitates connections between tourism suppliers—including hotels, airlines, and tour operators—and international travel buyers. The 2027 edition follows a record-setting 2026 event that featured 57 buyer companies, 62 supplier companies, and over 1,500 scheduled business appointments.

Participating destinations expected to utilize the marketplace to build commercial partnerships include Jamaica, Curaçao, Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands, Montserrat, Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Kitts and Nevis, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Turks and Caicos Islands. Registration is currently open, featuring an early bird period for companies to secure preferred placement.
