St. Martin an der Raab: Johann Holzmann nominated as mayor

In St. Martin an der Raab, the SPÖ has unanimously nominated Johann Holzmann as the candidate for mayor. This follows the decision by Franz Josef Kern to step down from his position after nearly 15 years in office.

Kern's tenure is noted for significant infrastructure investments and a reported financial status of zero debt with approximately 600,000 euros in reserves. The official election for the new mayor is scheduled to take place during the next municipal council meeting on October 1.
