St. Mary’s College women’s soccer draws 1-1 with Stevenson

The St. Mary’s College of Maryland women’s soccer team played to a 1-1 draw against Stevenson University at Jamie L. Roberts Stadium. Addison Campbell scored for the Seahawks two minutes into the match, providing an early lead.

Stevenson equalized in the 32nd minute via an own goal. Despite St. Mary’s dominating the statistics with 21 total shots and seven corner kicks compared to Stevenson’s six shots and four corners, they were unable to secure a victory. Stevenson goalkeeper Isabella Serano recorded eight saves, including four in the second half, to maintain the tie. St. Mary’s moves to a 1-1-2 record on the season.
