St. Michael’s School celebrates 30 years of Terry Fox fundraising

Students from St. Michael’s School in Bow Island participated in a community Terry Fox Run alongside two other local schools. The event, which saw Bow Island emergency services escorting participants, marked the 30th year of fundraising efforts at the school.

Since 1997, the St. Michael’s school community has raised a total of $119,973.25 for cancer research. For this year's run, the school surpassed its $1,500 goal, with donations reaching at least $2,131.
