St. Pölten hosts Nordic-themed Domplatz Open-Air concert

The Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich will perform a program titled ‘Nordlichter’ (Northern Lights) at the Domplatz Open-Air in St. Pölten. Conducted by Ross Jamie Collins, the concert features works by composers such as Edvard Grieg, Jean Sibelius, Hans Christian Lumbye, and Johan Svendsen.

To explore contemporary northern sounds, the event includes guest performances from various North European musicians. Norwegian singer-songwriter Rebekka Bakken will present songs from her album ‘Nord’, and Faroese singer Eivør will also perform. Additionally, the Finnish harmonica quartet Sväng will contribute to the evening's musical variety.
