St. Thomas leads inaugural NAIA Football NSC Poll

St. Thomas (Fla.) has claimed the top spot in the first edition of the STADIONIC NAIA Football National Selection Committee (NSC) Poll. The Bobcats hold an 8-0 record and are one of only two undefeated teams remaining in the NAIA, alongside College of Idaho (7-0), which sits at No. 2.

Other top-ranked teams in the NSC Poll include Benedictine (Kan.) at No. 3 and Montana Tech at No. 4, with Morningside (Iowa) rounding out the top five.

In addition to the national poll, the NAIA released its first Area Rating Committee (ARC) standings for the 2026 season, providing regional evaluations across the North, Midwest, East, and West regions to assist in the postseason selection process. Separately, the Football Performance Indicator (FPI) rankings also place St. Thomas at No. 1 with a performance index score of 32.86.
