St Vincent and the Grenadines Cadet Force to headline Independence Parade

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Cadet Force will perform a special display during the nation’s 47th Independence Parade to commemorate the institution’s 90th anniversary. Rather than joining the standard parade formation, the Cadets have been requested to present a dedicated performance to mark this historic milestone.

Parade Commander and Superintendent of Police Parnell Brown stated that the decision recognizes the Cadet Force’s long-standing connection to national Independence celebrations. The ceremony is scheduled for October 27 at 5 p.m. at the Arnos Vale playing field. The display will be held alongside traditional parade elements, including nurses and both armed and unarmed guards.
