St. Vincent and the Grenadines police warn visiting motorists

Superintendent of Police Parnell Brown, head of the Traffic Department in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, has issued a warning to visiting bikers and motorists expected for the country’s 47th Independence anniversary celebrations.

Brown emphasized that participation in the festivities does not grant permission to violate local laws. He urged visitors to exercise extreme caution and respect for all road users, noting that the department will be paying close attention to visitor activities during the motorsport events. The warning follows historical concerns regarding visitor behavior, including a report from November 2024 that noted approximately 12 traffic incidents involving overseas bikers during the Independence season.
