St. Vincent and the Grenadines targets diaspora investment and tourism growth

Invest SVG is launching a diaspora outreach and investment programme in Brooklyn, New York, to foster trade and investment opportunities. The event, scheduled for September 19 at the New York Marriott Brooklyn Bridge, is held in collaboration with the Consulate General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The initiative aims to connect the Vincentian diaspora with government officials, financial institutions, and private-sector representatives to discuss opportunities in sectors such as tourism, agriculture, real estate, manufacturing, and ICT.

In a separate effort to bolster the local economy, a new digital platform called ‘The Vincy List’ has been launched. This online directory is designed to help visitors and residents discover local businesses, including restaurants, hotels, tours, and attractions. The platform seeks to increase visitor spending and provide smaller businesses with digital visibility. To complement the website, physical paperback directories are planned for distribution at Argyle airport.
