ST25 rice enters Selgros wholesale supermarket network in Germany

Vietnamese ST25 rice has officially entered the Selgros Cash & Carry wholesale supermarket chain in Germany. Distributed through the entire network, this move provides a direct channel for high-quality Vietnamese agricultural products to reach European consumers.

The product is supplied by Mova Plus following over a year of collaboration with Selgros and support from the Vietnamese Trade Office in Germany. The launch took place at Selgros Lichtenberg in Berlin during Vietnam Week.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany, Nguyen Dac Thanh, noted that the availability of ST25 rice helps increase the value of Vietnamese agricultural goods by focusing on quality and branding rather than just volume. To maintain a long-term presence in the German market, officials emphasized the need for high food safety standards, stable supplies, and effective marketing strategies.
