Stade Français edges USAP 28-26 in narrow victory

Stade Français secured a narrow 28-26 victory against USAP at Jean-Bouin, despite a significant collapse in the second half. The Parisian side dominated the first period, building a commanding 28-6 lead that included four tries, including one by Léo Barré.

However, Stade Français conceded 20 unanswered points in the second half as USAP mounted a comeback. While USAP narrowly missed out on the win, they managed to secure a defensive bonus point. USAP manager Laurent Labit attributed the loss to first-half indiscipline and poor execution during set pieces, noting that while the team showed improved resources in the second half, the initial deficit was too large to overcome.

Stade Français assistant Rory Kockott noted that the team struggled with decision-making both with and without the ball during the latter stages of the match, preventing them from securing an offensive bonus point.
