Stade Français prepares for Champions Cup return and LOU Rugby clash

Stade Français is preparing for its return to the Investec Champions Cup following a third-place finish in the previous Top 14 season. The club is set to compete in Pool 4 against Northampton, Bath, Cardiff, Montpellier, and the Vodacom Bulls.

South African center Jeremy Ward expressed high ambitions for the campaign, emphasizing the importance of securing victories at home to reach the knockout stages. Ward will face a personal milestone during the opening round as he returns to South Africa to play against the Bulls.

In domestic competition, Stade Français faces a challenging match against LOU Rugby at Jean-Bouin. While LOU Rugby enters the fixture as the undefeated leader of the Top 14, Stade Français seeks to recover from a mixed start to the season, currently sitting in 11th place after a heavy defeat against Union Bordeaux-Bègles.
