Stade Rennais implements rotation and training camp to manage dense schedule

Stade Rennais is managing a dense schedule of four matches in fifteen days, beginning with Marseille and continuing through Sturm Graz and Lyon. To optimize player recovery and manage physical fatigue, head coach Franck Haise has announced plans for calculated squad rotations.

Due to accommodation difficulties in Graz, Austria, the club has opted to stay in Slovenia for three days following their Europa League match against Sturm Graz. This period will serve as a mini-training camp near Maribor to facilitate recovery before their upcoming fixture against Lyon.

Haise noted that physical management is a priority, as some players faced dehydration issues during a recent match against Angers. The coach indicated he has approximately 16 to 18 players capable of starting, emphasizing that rotations will be used to avoid overworking key personnel during this intense period.
